Caring for your cutlery

Quality is of paramount importance to us, here at Amefa. Our products are dishwasher proof because they are made of high-quality stainless steel. Nevertheless, we advise you to follow the maintenance instructions below to keep your cutlery in optimum condition and to prevent stains.

  • Always rinse your cutlery with water after use and before putting it in the dishwasher.
  • Salt, lime, vinegar, bleach and aggressive cleaning agents may cause stains or dents if the cutlery is not rinsed thoroughly after use.
  • As regards potential "contact corrosion"(which is caused by different types of metal coming into contact with each other), we advise you to separate the knives from the forks and/or spoons in the cutlery basket.
  • Use the recommended quantity of detergent/rinse aid, because both have a corrosive effect when used in high concentrations.
  • Once the dishwasher programme has finished, open the door to prevent condensation from forming on the cutlery.
  • The cutlery should preferably be removed from the dishwasher straight away and rubbed dry using a soft cloth or tea towel.

Amefa products are manufactured with the utmost care and checked carefully, as well as guaranteeing many years of enjoyment. Corrosion and damage caused by misuse or failure to maintain the cutlery are not covered by the guarantee.
