For cutlery with a PVD coating, as well as for models made from special or refined materials, we recommend gentle hand washing. Although many cutlery sets are generally robust, washing them in the dishwasher over time can damage the surface, colour and coating. Clean the cutlery immediately after use with warm water, a mild washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Avoid harsh detergents, abrasive cleaners or steel wool, as these can damage the PVD coating. The cutlery should then be thoroughly dried with a soft cloth to prevent water marks.
